This incident happened about 12 years ago in JC Penney although I wasn’t able to actually see it, per se. I went into the dressing room to try on some clothes and the dressing room was pretty shoddy. Every time someone opened or closed the door to enter and exit the stall, the entire wall would shake. The door latches were pretty worn out and would catch enough to keep the door shut but not secured Anyway, I was in the middle of changing clothes when a very young woman (maybe high school or even college age) opened the door before I could respond fast enough. We both were shocked and she immediately turned and left. I didn’t really bother me at all but a few mins later I heard her whispering, snickering and laughing to her friend saying how I didn’t say anything, as if I had some perversion for people to walk in on me while I’m changing my clothes and see me in my underwear. That struck my nerve so I immediately yelled “I didn’t say anything because I didn’t expect anyone to barge in when the door was shut!!” Silence. Not another word, snicker, whisper, or sigh. Complete silence. I finished up and grabbed the clothes, and as I was exiting the dressing room I had to stick it to her again and yelled “Apparently, some people weren’t taught manners to knock before entering a room when the door is closed.
